The Utah Lady Grizzlies is the only all girls hockey organization in Utah. ULG offers Tier, Travel and Recreation level programs for girls of all ages. We are committed to growing girls hockey in Utah and giving every girl a place to play hockey.

2020-2021 ULG Programing
19U Tier II
Tier 2 is a USA Hockey national tournament bound designation. Teams at the Tier 2 level are highly competitive, often drawing attention of college coaches. These teams travel throughout the country to compete and will compete in the Rocky Mountain District tournament in March for a change to play in the USA Hockey National Tournament. Our 19U Tier 2 team practices 2-3 times a week and will travel out of state to 5-6 tournaments a season. This is a tryout based team, tryouts typically occur in July. The season runs August-March.
14U Travel
The 14U travel team is for girls age 13-14 that are looking to develop their skills in a more competitive environment. This is a tryout based team, previous experience playing on a team is required. Our 14U travel team practice 2-3 times a week and competes in 2-3 tournaments throughout the west each season.
12U Travel
The 12U travel team is for girls age 11-12 that are looking to develop their skills in a more competitive environment. This is a tryout based team, previous hockey experience is required. This season our 12U travel team is a tournament team. The team practices once a week and will travel to 3-4 out of state tournaments throughout the season.
10U Developmental
The 10U developmental program is geared toward girls 10 and under that are looking to develop their skills in a fun environment. There are no tryouts for this program, everyone that registers gets a spot. Each week girls will learn the fundamentals of the game such as skating, shooting, passing, stick handling and goaltending. The program includes 1 practice a week with occasional full ice sessions for in house games. No previous hockey experience is required, previous skating experience is preferred.
